- The master bedroom felt big and cold as Eena stood in front of the open closet. She pulled out a single suitcase, the same one she'd arrived with months ago, and laid it on the bed.
- She didn't want much. Most of the clothes hanging in the closet weren't really hers anyway. Expensive designer piece, beautiful things that had never felt like they belonged to her.
- She packed methodically. Jeans. Simple blouses. The cream sweater Isabella had complimented at the café. Her comfortable shoes.
