• So, I was going to deliver a file to the accounting department downstairs. I have no idea what Maverick is building at the pack house, but he has been approving some checks and invoices for some days now. It says he is renovating the basement of the pack house, and from the invoices, I saw that he was ordering some high-security equipment from the best security company overseas. If you ask me, I think he is hiding something down there. I wanted to ask him about it, but I figured he will tell me if it was important, so I just let it go and let him go ahead with his project, after all, I’m just his personal assistant, right?
• At least that is what everyone in this building thinks anyway. I was going to the accounting department for the one-hundredth time this morning, then I heard a commotion from the reception hall. At first, I was a bit surprised because the security guards would never let anyone come down here and create such a noisy scene, but when I peeked down the hallway, I was so shocked to see Cameron and Beverly fighting dirty and trying to be recognized as the future Luna.
