Chapter 40 Facing The Kellers

Liam’s POV
I was not surprised when I saw her in Maverick's office, I had to fake it to make her believe that I wasn’t expecting to meet her here. The truth is, I know she works with him, and I know she lives in his apartment as well, I just pretended to be surprised because I need her to think that our meeting with each other after so many years was a coincidence, I want her to believe that I’ve been searching for her because I miss her. She has to pay for everything she has done for me and my family.
You see, it’s been almost six years ago that I helped her flee the city with the hope that she would finally open her heart to me and love me unconditionally, just like I love her.
