• We were standing in the parking lot outside the restaurant that I met Maverick and Beverly. After threatening Beverly, she stopped using her strength and other weird abilities on me. We just stood in front of Maverick, glaring at each other and hissing furiously like two venomous Pythons. While we fought dirty and even when we tried to hurt each other, Maverick never said a word to us, he didn’t even attempt to stop us or something. He just sat in the same spot as a spectator, and he stopped his wine while watching us engage in a public display of madness.
