Chapter 18 Flirting With My Woman

• You have no fucking idea how I feel right now. My mate, my Luna is walking towards me, with her arm locked in a guy's hand, smiling excitedly and looking so beautiful. You know, I didn’t see her at first, I mean, I wasn’t even looking out for her, I was not expecting to see her here tonight, not after all the things she has been through today. I was doing my normal duties at the entrance to the banquet hall, I had to show respect to the highest-ranked werewolves by personally welcoming them into my banquet hall.
• Cameron insisted on standing beside me tonight, she has always loved being in the spotlight, she keeps perching around me like a fucking leech. I would have sent her away this time, I know I am never going to mate with her, I never had any feelings for her in e first place. But I need to keep her close by to avoid suspicion. I’ve always let her hang around me all the time. If I stop doing it now, it will raise a whole lot of questions that I am not yet ready to answer.
