• "What about her?" I asked, exchanging a curious glance with Eduardo before returning to Luciano. My expression remained neutral, but I could hear the heavy drumming of my heartbeat.
• "She was thrown into the prison yard two days ago," Luciano replied.
• "WHAT?!” I snapped my head back at him, my questions tumbling out straight away. "How? Why?" I asked altogether not even giving him a chance to respond as I tried to wrap my mind around what he just said.
