Chapter 3

  • "This way," the beta said, motioning for me to follow him toward the entrance door. Nodding, I trailed behind him, doing my best to conceal my nervousness and maintain a stoic expression.
  • However, we walked in silence, navigating through the hallway without exchanging a single word. It felt uncomfortable, but I kept my composure. Eventually, we arrived at a blue iron door. The beta gave a gentle knock, and after what seemed like an eternity, a warrior inside the room pushed the door open.
  • I felt my heart skip a beat as the beta turned and gestured for me to go in. Nervously clutching the side of my gown, I quietly entered the room.
  • But immediately, a shiver crawled down my spine as I took cautious steps forward. And there, by the floor-to-ceiling window, stood a massive man... I mean, he was really huge, like seven feet tall! He looked to be around my uncle's age if I am not mistaken or a bit older than him.
  • His hands were as thick as log, and his face was adorned with wild whiskers and a messy mop of hair. His piercing gray eyes watched me intently, giving off an icy and cold vibe. It was quite an intimidating sight, to say the least.
  • "Alpha Lucius," I trembled as I heard the beta mumble with a slight bow behind me.
  • "Here she is," he added. My heart pounded in my chest as the door was locked, trapping me inside with the beta, the guard, and of course, this intimidating giant of an Alpha.
  • The tension in the room was intimidating and I felt suffocated.
  • As my gaze fell on him, I couldn't help but notice a sudden, malicious grin slowly spreading across his cold face as he menacingly approached me.
  • My heart pounded hard, and my breathing hardened in fear as I watched him walk toward me like a predator.
  • Alpha Luicus stopped in front of me, and with a rough grip, he forcefully turned my head on each side, inspecting me before leaning in to take a sniff of my scent.
  • I cringed in disgust, kneely watching him.
  • After a few more minutes, he pushed my head back, a satisfied smile formed on his face. "I wonder how your father will feel now that he knows I'll be marrying his precious gem, little one," he said, his voice filled with deadly triumph.
  • What the heck is he blabbering about? I’m fucking not marrying him? I swallowed hard, giving him a fierce glare.
  • The thought of marrying this old geezer is absolutely repulsive.
  • How could they want to tie me up with a physcopath all my life?
  • "Feisty, huh?" he nodded, "We'll see how long that fiery spirit of yours lasts." He gave me a menacing glare before shifting his gaze to the beta.
  • "Stefano, did Reginald give you what we needed?" he asked, and the beta nodded without hesitation.
  • Stepping forward, the beta handed him a tiny bottle, bowing respectfully before stepping back again.
  • Alpha Lucius stared at the bottle in his hand, a silent, sinister smile creeping onto his face.
  • My confusion deepened as I raised an eyebrow, glancing between the bottle and Lucius, unsure of what was going on.
  • That bottle gives me a weird vibe. I can't quite place my finger on what exactly it is, but something feels off.
  • I remember seeing Killian with that same bottle back in the pack, but I didn't think much of it at the time. Now that Alpha Lucius is demanding it, it's making me curious. But just looking at that bottle right now, is making me feel uneasy.
  • "Hmm, little one," he mumbled, "Stefano, get everything ready and announce the wedding. We're getting married tomorrow evening, right before the moonlight feast."
  • But before Stefano could say a word, I couldn't hold back anymore and I screamed in his face, "I will never marry you, never!" My voice filled with disgust.
  • But Immediately just the words left my lips, a searing pain exploded across my face. The force of the slap sent my head twisting to the side, causing me to lose my balance and crash to the ground in an instant.
  • I saw tiny stars before I managed to lift my head. Rubbing my stinging cheeks, tears welled up in my eyes as I continued to glare at him.
  • I can still feel his gaze locked onto me, his once bright gray eyes now filled with a terrifying mix of rage and hatred, causing my heart to skip a beat as a wave of fear washed over me.
  • My heart raced but I am not going to let him see the fear in me.
  • "Please, just release me... Why do you really want to marry a weak wolfless girl?!!"
  • His face darkened and his lips curled up in an unsettling, almost mocking smile.
  • Gulp**
  • Alpha Lucius stepped closer, so close that his breath brushed against my face. I clench my teeth in disgust and glare at him, tears welling up in my eyes. But he ignored my defiance, squatting down and forcefully gripping my chin.
  • As I looked at him, my question was swiftly answered by his stern words, "Forget about it, really? I have waited for almost ten good years, dear. The deal is done, sweetheart. Your father needs to see me claim his precious gem."
  • My father….. how? Why?
  • Is there something that I don't know about? Yes I know they are enemies but he is dead now, so why is he so determined to marry me just to spite him off?
  • I tried to speak, but his grip on my chin tightened, preventing any words from escaping. Instead, a choked sob broke free from my lips.
  • "Alpha," a voice interrupted him, and at that moment, it was as if he snapped back to reality. His intense gray eyes bore into mine before he forcefully pushed me away, causing my head to collide with the wall with a jolt.
  • *Ah. Ah!*
  • I coughed, spitting out blood. Looking at the tiny droplet of blood on the ground in front of me, I snapped my head and shot him a deadly glare again.
  • *He is just a monster!
  • "Stefano, make sure there's a private chamber ready for her. And about YOU," He directed his attention towards me again, his gaze so intense and commanding that I couldn't help but avert my eyes.
  • "You, wolfless bitch... Look at me when I'm talking to you," he used his Alpha tone and I couldn't help but involuntarily meet his piercing gaze. His tone grew increasingly harsh and vicious as I locked eyes with his piercing gray stare.
  • "I'll deal with you later," he said in that domineering tone I've grown all too familiar with in this short period. He barely spared a glance in my direction before striding towards the entrance door, leaving me behind with the guard and Stefano.
  • "This way, Miss Isabella, we don't mess around with time here,"
  • I wiped the blood off my nose, my teeth clenched tightly as I tore my gaze away from the retreating figure of that Alpha beast and turned my throbbing head to face the cold expression of the beta.
  • **** ****
  • Getting inside the room they arranged for me, I leaned against the wall, crying my balls out when suddenly the door was pushed open and a petite young looking omega walked in.
  • “Good afternoon, ma’am, I am Aurora, your new personal maid assigned by the Alpha.” She said, giving me a small smile before her gaze instantly widened.
  • "Are you crying, ma’am?”
  • Wiping my tears, I immediately shook my head, " Why are you here?”
  • Smiling again, she leaned back. " I am here to accompany you to the stylist shop to choose your wedding gown.”
