- In front of the car was the zebra crossing. Since there were eight seconds left before the traffic lights changed, I pressed lightly on the accelerator, preparing to pass the lights. Just then, a man, who was on his phone, rushed forward, and my car bumped into him.
- Stunned, I wondered if I had encountered a staged accident. I quickly turned on the hazard lights and got out of the car to check on the man.
- Thankfully, the man on the phone was fine and had already gotten off the ground. As our eyes met, both of us were stunned.
