• I chuckled at the words that came out of Ryan’s lips, what was he saying? Had he not seen the way Robin glared at me and the way he talks to me with disdain, how can Robin say I was his girlfriend when Robin was fully aware of my relationship with Hinn Carlos.
• “You must have heard wrong.” I brushed the words like it was a disturbing fly buzzing close to my ears, he was really mistaken and I wasn’t going to take those words as truth.
• Ryan touched his ears and pinched the corner of his nose. “Why do I feel I heard him correctly, didn’t you notice the way Robin stares at you?” I waved my hands in dismissal to his words.
