• Jaxon eventually returned later that Sunday evening while Colton and I were in the middle of a scary movie. So when he greeted us, we were a little startled before realizing who it was.
• He was not with his father, which was a relief for me. Not seeing him was a welcomed reprieve because I was pissed off at him for making me go see Alice in prison that Saturday when I didn’t want to see the woman in the first place.
• Anyway, I was relieved Jaxon had returned because I had started to worry. He went on to explain why he was delayed, mentioning that his weekend had been consumed by business meetings and other related activities.
