• “I’ll tell you about it later. I’m counting on you, Axel.” Lauren smiled. She hoped she’d find some clue from her grandfather’s friend. Weston said he left a will, but it was nowhere to be found. That only meant one thing: her grandfather had handed it to someone he trusted.
• “Sure, I’ll help you out.” Axel helped her down the hill. “I’ll take you home, Lauren.”
• Lauren smiled bitterly and let him take her back to Steward Residence. Luckily he was living alone, or some other trouble might arise.
