• Hook swallowed a growl of frustration. Nothing he said would make Abbie believe he wanted her, he knew she had no reason to. He had been rude to her so many times and declared his hatred for what she was that now it would be difficult to prove that his feeling for her had changed him. At the time, it had never crossed his mind that he would feel so much for a human, for Abbie.
