Chapter 43

• A noise in the distance filled Hook's ears causing him to open his eyes immediately. Instinctively he hugged the small body over his more tightly, he could barely sleep but she was in a deep sleep.
• He sniffed the air but nothing but the female's pleasant scent reached his nose, he only heard the damn noise, far away, but it was something that was starting to worry him.
• The day was beginning to lighten. He lowered his face to examine Abbie, her features were smooth, totally different from hybrid females , she had no change in her face and was perfect.
