• "Celene…" she shouted happily upon entering the house with the vision of the woman in their living room. Seated in the living room was the familiar figure of her cousin. Colleen was the niece of her mother and she was known in their pack as her father was mated into a human. Her parents were one of the rare cases just like her but unlike her, her father willingly accepted her mother easily and they left the pack to live a normal life in North Carolina. It was a bliss as well that even though they left the pack, they still visited them every now and then.
• Celene stood up from her seat as she saw Colleen’s arrival. They both ran towards each other as they engulfed each other in a tight and warm embrace. Excitement surged through both of them. After their greetings, Colleen walked further to the living room and greeted her parents before she sat down beside Celene.
