• Judith's POV
• He gently withdrew from the kiss, creating a slight distance between us. I understood the struggles within him, the deliberate action to suppress his emotions; perhaps he doesn't want to engage in any action that might annoy me. But instead of retreating, I moved closer to him until the space between us vanished, my hands gently cradling his face. I could feel my eyes, intense and filled with undeniable desire.
• Leaning forward, I closed the distance, and then our lips met in a slow, tentative kiss that spoke with both desire and cautiousness. The softness of our lips against each other sent shivers down my spine, and I found myself melting helplessly into him.
