Chapter 30

• I survived the next three days pretty well. I was amazed by how much my mind drifted away from the paternity results and focused on wedding planning.
• I met with the event planning company, the wedding fashion designer, and picked out a custom-made, hand-beaded wedding dress. I wanted something unique and beautiful, so I opted to create my own design. Everything went smoothly, and I enjoyed every bit of it.
• I went to my room to take a shower after preparing dinner with the chefs when I received an email notification from the hospital. I wasn't anxious about opening the message, so I took my shower and put on a simple dress.
