Chapter 30 Castillo Brothers
- Nicolas was the third son of the Silvio family, born to the late Castillo Mafia Don. He was the outcast among his brothers; his mother viewed him as a disappointment and only cared for his elder brother, Max. She often praised Max's strength and spoke of how he would elevate her status, expressing her desire to see him become the Don, a notion Nicolas accepted without complaint.
- Instead, he dedicated himself to becoming his father’s mercenary and bounty hunter. He aspired to be the best, but no matter how hard he tried, his father never regarded him with the same admiration he had for Silvio. In response, Nicolas trained to emulate Silvio. His father was a difficult man to please, and although he had sent Silvio away, Nicolas understood it was meant to make him stronger and more self-sufficient.
- Many believed the late Don despised Silvio and cast him out after his mistress bore him sons, but Nicolas knew the truth was quite the opposite. Roberto, the late Mafia Don, had done everything he could to shield Silvio from his mistress. He recognized her dark heart and her deep-seated hatred for Silvio, feeling guilty for not realizing it sooner.
