• Vespera Words got to me, as I had stormed off after warning her. Fear gripped my heart at the thought that she might tell my dad about my mum’s betrayal. I didn’t even know what to do anymore; I was exhausted from seeing how things were going sideways.
• And I hated it. I looked for Silvio, but I was told he had stepped out, which led me to remember Luca. I didn’t even know what to lean on after the incident with my mother. I realized I had lost my sense of trust; everyone was going to do things as far as it benefited them. They didn’t care about anyone else, except themselves, maybe LUca had betrayed me to suit his desires, and that was all that mattered.
