- I exhaled through my mouth slowly. In and out, I breathed, but my hands wouldn't stop shaking, and the tears wouldn't stop flowing. I clenched my fists and then my jaw as I held my head up. "Lovette is my mother, huh?" I pinched the bridge of my nose while nodding. "Okay," I swallowed and looked back at Malcolm. "How? I want to know everything from the start."
