Chapter 72

• Ruby POV:
• A few days after we moved to this location, I wandered off into the forest seeking a little peace away from the chaos of our living situation. Eventually, I stumbled upon the most peaceful and surreal view.
• I found a hill that overlooked a part of the forest covered with flowers along with trees scattered about them. Woodland animals would wander by me, uncaring that I was there. To me, this felt as close as I'd ever get to finding the Garden of Eden.
