Chapter 412
- When Rafael returned from the office that evening, the sharp clack of his Italian leather shoes echoed in the marble hallway before he entered the lounge. He handed his overcoat to the butler and loosened his tie with that usual quiet confidence he wore like a second skin. As he sank into the armchair and took a slow sip of espresso, I briefed him on the latest development Logan and Kiera.
- "Logan’s got that typical rich-kid vibe," Rafael said after a long pause. “He’s indulgent, lives fast, and probably hasn’t faced real pressure. But oddly enough, Kiera seems to like that. They connect.”
- I nodded. “The Quintons will likely reach out soon to finalize the engagement. I’ve already spoken with Kiera she actually wants to go through the traditional engagement process. Ceremonies, announcements, press releases the whole thing. It makes her feel grounded.”
