Chapter 7

• Lydia POV:
• When Lilia and Alex came back, I was almost falling asleep.
• Thanks to them, I had a good night’s sleep.
• The next day, in a great mood and ready to go downstairs for breakfast, I heard Noah and Nova’s voices again.
• “What decent girl would stay in her brother’s room! Lydia is a complete slut, not even worthy of a finger from Miss Lilia!”
• “Yeah, if I were Alpha Alessandro, I would choose Lilia too. Lydia is just a bitch! Seducing her own brother, what a bitch.”
• I yawned and asked with interest, “Are you two talking about me?”
• Instantly, Nova and Noah’s bodies shook like startled rabbits.
• “It seems like you forgot what I said yesterday.” I slowly walked down the stairs, looking at their shocked expressions. “Just because Norton doesn’t dislike me, you think you can step on my head and do whatever you want?”
• Mia laughed, “Look at them, scared speechless, a bunch of cowards!”
• I narrowed my eyes, “Perfect, there are still many places in the villa that haven’t been cleaned. Today, I’ll give the other servants a day off and leave it to you. But, don’t touch my room.”
• Noah and Nova hung their heads, not daring to say a word of retort, and then left.
• I knew they would resent me for this, but so what?
• As long as I’m happy.
• I coldly approached the dining table, where Norton Alessandro and Lilia were already eating.
• There were only a few breakfast items on the table, most of which contained peanuts that I’m allergic to.
• Norton scolded me as soon as he saw me, “Lydia, you shouldn’t be so harsh on Noah and Nova, they just said a few words.”
• “Oh brother, you just don’t understand.” I sat down and casually picked up a piece of toast. “If they dare to talk about me today, they’ll dare to talk about you, Alpha Norton, tomorrow! I’m just helping you establish authority!”
• “You too, I help you like this, and you don’t even prepare my breakfast.”
• Norton couldn’t hold back his face and looked to the side, explaining, “I didn’t know what you liked to eat.”
• “So you’re just going to let me go hungry?” I innocently blinked.
• Lilia kindly offered me her plate, “Lydia, you can have my breakfast, I’m not very hungry.”
• “Okay!” I smiled and walked over, but was pushed away by Alessandro.
• He said coldly, “Didn’t prepare breakfast for you, can’t you go out and buy it yourself? Lydia, don’t eat leftovers like a dog, be careful of being poisoned.”
• “Then poison me! That way you guys will be happy, right?” I opened the peanut butter and spread it layer by layer on the toast.
• Norton instantly panicked, “Lydia, you’re crazy! You’re allergic to peanuts!”
• But I ate the toast without a care, even taking the time to catch the satisfaction in Lilia’s eyes.
• “Brother, if I don’t eat, I’ll be hungry!” I leisurely sat back in my seat, “I am the hero of this family, allergies are nothing.”
• In between speaking, I even took a sip of peanut milk.
• Norton was dumbfounded on the side, quickly calling the butler to find the family doctor, and taking away the toast and milk covered in peanut butter from my hands.
• Alessandro was still instigating on the side, “Norton, why are you so nervous?”
• “Maybe Lydia’s previous allergies were fake! Three years ago, pretending to go to prison would die, now she’s standing here just fine.”
• “Yeah! I can eat peanut butter and still stand here just fine, why is that?” I played with the dining knife in my hand, chuckling lightly.
• Who else knew how many times I had eaten peanuts in prison.
