Chapter 9 Severing Ties

• “I wouldn’t touch Lorenzo’s property if I were you.” Daniel’s hand that was close to her face froze. His hand hangs mid-way awkwardly before finally dropping to his side.
• Aurora watches in glee as his hands drop to his side; however, that was only short lived as his following comment shattered her: “You have learned how to be a whore just like your mother.” He said it with a smirk before settling back into his chair.
• Aurora felt pain at his words, and her face cracked for a split second. Calling her a whore didn’t matter to her, but she couldn’t withstand her mother being called the same.
