Chapter 20 The Trail

• Looking at Lorenzo, who, despite his cold look, could see the broken man that lies underneath that cold exterior, a man who needs love, care, and affirmation that he will be fine. He might be the most powerful man in Italy, but underneath all that lies a broken man.
• She wanted nothing more than to make him feel good, to comfort him, and to protect him from his internal struggles.
