Chapter 21 A Lot Of Friends

• Lawrence dashed out of the room where they kept the culprits as soon as he heard that Lorenzo had entered the building. He left Mateo in there, torturing the men they had captured. Mateo was able to deceive the men into trailing after him to shake them off Lorenzo, and he successfully led them into an ambush where Lorenzo’s men were waiting. That was how they were able to capture the men who attempted to assassinate Lorenzo and his family.
• “Mateo is with them,” Lawrence said when he saw the soulless man walk in. He fell in line behind him, walking to the room where they kept their victims.
• Lorenzo did not say a word to him as he walked on; his strides were extremely long today. He was in a haste to release his pent-up anger and his desire to kill. It has been a while since someone has been bold enough to make such an attempt. His brain was trying to pick up who it might have been, but he was coming out short; he was clueless about who it might have been that targeted him when he was with his family.
