Chapter 19 Family Above All

• Mateo settled into his seat; his gaze lingered on Lorenzo's, who was pulling out a chair for Aurora. Aurora took the seat and instantly turned her focus to her immediate environment. It is quite exotic and beautiful, with intricate designs decorating the room. Aside from them, there was no other diner present; she didn't think much about this, as she presumed that Lorenzo was probably the reason behind the restaurant being fully booked by them. She never imagined herself coming here, not even if she was married to Jason.
• “What would you like to have?” The voice of the waiter pulled her out of her thoughts. The waiter was fidgeting, not daring to stand close to Lorenzo, and could only remain footed at the foot of the table. She was about to answer him when the manager who had led them to the reserved table spoke up, silencing the waiter's words.
• He gestured towards the entrance, and the door opened widely to reveal carts of food being pushed in.
