• "I must do something else I'll end back with those monsters." Cassie told herself and continued pacing to and fro. She was breathing heavily but regularly.
• She felt hopeless. She can't go back to her abductors no matter what and there was no way she could escape from the witches. She was between the devil and the deep blue sea. She hasn't learned how to use her powers yet. When Romeo tried to teach her how to harness them, she disagreed stating that she never wanted the powers in the first place.
• The witch that brought her had placed her in a private room and after eavesdropping on them earlier, Cassie knew the sooner she gets out of that room, the better for her.
