• Pete and Alpha Luca were like brothers. Even though Pete wasn't close to the Alpha as Lord Romeo and Valentine were. Pete and Luca however, shared a bond.
• Before his mysterious death, Pete was Luca's beta and after he was confirmed dead, Ryan took his place. Pete wouldn't waste an opportunity to please his alpha. He was the ideal beta any Alpha could wish for and Luca was pleased with him.
