• I was beginning to get nervous and worried. Did I go overboard last night? I massaged my temples in frustration, annoyed by how much of an asshole I'd been to her the night before. I was just as confused as she probably was about why I was so angry with her. There were too many reasons for me to be pissed at Cole, but she hadn't done anything.
• And she ended up the way she did because of me. Perhaps I should have given her more time to get ready, maybe she wouldn't have pushed herself so hard then. Yet all I did was get mad at her and insinuate she was interested in Cole.
