Chapter 95

• All that was left in the once peaceful and lively village was the smell of blood and death. Bodies of the villagers lined on the ground, waiting for their turn to be buried or burned. A huge fire burned at the center of the ground, and bodies were being incinerated. They had no time to bury the bodies, it was too many.
• The scene was too heart-wrenching and Ember wanted to burst into pure rage. She wanted to get her hands bloodied with those hunter’s blood. All these people ever wanted was to live in peace, away from the cruelty of war and judgment of other people. And this happened, Ember couldn’t accept this. She refused to accept this.
• Ember stood in front of the burning fire, her heart was with the people of this village. Memories of them happy and alive flashed inside her mind, and one again, her heart was filled with rage at the only culprit to this evil carnage.
