Chapter 42

• Puttanna Village, Rustville. A small agricultural village in the eastern part of the district.
• The chilly wind swept through the night and the silence of the night feels eerie. The full moon was high in the sky, exactly at the center. Everyone in the small village was already asleep. People were exhausted from the day’s work and everyone opted to rest early. They were oblivious to the upcoming tragedy that was about to be swept by the entire villagers.
• Everyone was deep in their slumber, except Taylore. She needs to finish her homework that should be submitted tomorrow morning. She can’t miss this one since it’s her only chance to have a passing grade. Taylore can’t afford to fail. She will not be able to get a scholarship examination if she has failing grades.
