- Jackson was the one who led them on their trek. Behind him were Ember and Aron and behind the two were Craig and Bran. They could now see a glance of the sun peaking in the mountains. The dark clouds of the night were slowly dissipating in the background.
- Their movements were very calculated, and their eyes and ears are on alert mode to any sound or presence of another creature aside from them. From the flat surface at the foot of the mountain, they were slowly ascending. The coldness of the air didn’t help at all. Werewolves are warm creatures, they like the hot rays of the sun and a place like Black Mountain is not where their natural habitat lies. Ember wondered how these rogue werewolves get to live even for a day in here.
- “Careful with the traps. Some bandits here like to set traps. They were a bit territorial and they don’t like their territory being trespassed by the others who lived here,” Jackson informed them.
