• Liam was getting frustrated. It’s been almost a month and he has no idea where to find Ember. He tried finding Yvette but the vampire was the most elusive creature Liam had ever known. No matter how much he tries to find the ancient vampire, she will only leave traces but she won’t actually show herself to him, which only made Liam’s frustration hitch up to the next level.
• The Moon Goddess has not spoken to him again either, and it’s frustrating the hell out of him. Not to mention that he is constantly targeted by bandits and outlaws whenever he goes. Sometimes he couldn’t help but think that the whole universe was conspiring against him.
• Corbett had been kind to offer them to stay in his mansion, but Liam declined. He can’t stay in one place, he needs to explore and find where Ember is right now.
