• "Is that my brother cooking in the kitchen? I must be seeing things," Lila said as she entered the kitchen.
• "I am making Nina something to eat. The Doctor said she needed to eat more nutritious food because she wasn't getting it in her old pack," I replied. I was so upset at Alpha Marcus. How could he abuse his pack members? I was sure Nina didn't tell me everything she went through, but hopefully, she would trust me enough to tell me soon.
