• "I still can't believe you got my brother to go shopping. He hates shopping. The powers of the mate bond," Lila said. Kate, Lila, and I were sitting outside waiting for Blake to be ready to go to the mall. Blake had to speak to some of the warriors about something before we could leave, so we decided to hang out outside.
• Suddenly, I saw Blake and another man that I had seen in the hospital walking toward us. "Sorry for the wait. Something came up," Blake said as he looked at me.
