Kaya's pov
Tyler's body was frozen, totally, and I could feel the anger consuming him. He sat up, which made me sit up too. My eyes meet his cool ones, and without saying anything, he cupped my face and dipped down into my neck to plant a kiss on my marks. It made me shudder from the shiver that shot through me.
I knew how sensitive the subject was to him but some part of me, had to know. I had to know where they were and what must have happened to them. I just needed closure, I guess. I needed to know that one day, they wouldn't show up out of nowhere and ruin my life especially with the fact that Tyler is in my life now. I moved my hands cautiously to the back of his head, threading my fingers into his hair. Something I haven't done before, but I felt like he wanted the comfort.
