• Kaya’s POV
• A mixture of vanilla and sandalwood filled my senses, comforting me. I opened my eyes to find myself in a room, Tyler’s, I thought. He lay beside me holding me tightly. I felt some kind of bliss, a kind of energized feeling I wasn't used to. His hand followed up on my back bringing me closer as though to check whether I'm still there, causing a gasp to escape my lips. Tyler's been here by my side since he brought me back.
• Memories of what happened last night started pouring back in. I am a Hybrid. Holy Shit! The locket subdued my abilities, Mother was trying to protect me from him, from Zerx.
