• A couple of days later, Payton was taking a tray of food to the pack house basement where a bedroom was turned into a place where the pack held prisoners. Cody had been there for a few days while Fallon was making plans on what to do going forward.
• Since the official police took care of a lot of the criminal matters, the Lycan clans often turned over these things to the authorities instead of taking care of them themselves. That was unless it was a situation like this regarding magic beings. After all, human police had no way to protect anyone if dark magic was involved. But Fallon wasn’t one to trust much of anyone, so he convinced Elias to keep their prison rooms open if a situation arose that they needed to take care of, and it seemed he was right.
