• Late that night, they arrived at the airport. As they went through the tarmac, she asked Fallon to get her things for her before running through the airport, searching for Simone. When she got to the end of the walkway, Simone stood waiting. They ran to each other’s embrace, and Anna felt the tears fall.
• Grabbing Simone’s face, she wept. “I’m so sorry. I am so very sorry.”
• “It’s not your fault we knew this was a risk. Chase took care of everything. The mansion is just me now since my father retired and moved to Florida, and he’s having a panic room being built with tons of security features. Not to mention a guard on staff. I feel like royalty.” She laughed.
