• A couple of weeks went by, and Anna was stuck on her phone. When she wasn’t busy on the television show, doing meet and greets with fans, or training, she was studying fighting skills online. Mostly studying Fallon and every move he made, but she’d never admit that to anyone.
• Her feelings for him were alive and well, and now she wondered if Luka was right. Was she a human bonding to a Lycan? The burning that had started a few days prior on the bond mark was becoming a clear indication it was a real possibility. But would he claim her as a mate, or reject her when the time came? The moon and stars that were completely visible now on her skin were a sure sign something was happening.
• After the attack, Simone had Anna move in with her in her southern Louisiana estate and had security watching over the Rockwell family mansion full time. They had started to become close and since Simone didn’t have any close female friends; it was nice to have someone to relate to. Few of her Lycan friends understood the human side of her and people teased her for being a half-breed.
