• It had been two days, yet Mr. Fabian still refused to let Ethan out of his room. Ethan banged on the door, shouting to be released. When no one answered, he kicked the door in anger and ran a hand through his hair in frustration. Just as he turned toward the window, he heard the sound of the door unlocking.
