Chapter 51

• “I'll be back shortly..” Aunt Caroline murmured, winking at me and Derek before scurrying towards the door. She held the door knob and took a last look at the both of us.
• “Bye..” She mumbled and closed the door behind her, humming as she hurried towards her car with her car keys in her hand. I locked the door and ran towards the window, wanting to see her leaving. She excitedly entered her car and closed the door before placing her hands on the steering wheel. She swerved the car and drove off across the streets at a full speed. I hope she'll return sooner because I know she loves outings and spending most times with her boyfriend. She often spends a lot of time with me like a normal lovely aunt would but whenever she gets the chance to be with her boyfriend, she forgets about me and gives him her full attention. I just really hope she'll make it back like she had said.
