• I was expecting him to say something, but he just pushed the car door open and stepped outside. He went to hop in the front seat and started the car. He drove off afterward.
• Although I was disappointed, I still didn't regret telling him how I felt, I didn't regret confessing to him, and neither was I mad at him for being like this. He must've been shocked by the confession. Not everyone can take this as a normal thing to do.
