• "I want you, Asher," My heart pounded hard in my chest like it was going to explode, I felt a spark in my body as though I was electrified. The feeling was crazy, but what was crazier was the fact that I was being like this even after everything he had done to me. Did he cast a spell on me? I asked myself, but quickly dismissed the thought because I didn't even believe that shit existed.
• How could I still be like this when he told me bluntly that he didn't love me? How could I still allow him to touch me like he owned me when I knew nothing good was ever going to come out of this? I asked myself, but in the end, I was left helpless.
