• "Let me go!" I cried out as I was being dragged inside a warehouse along with Jenny and mom. We were in the house earlier when we suddenly heard gunshots outside. I had gone to take a look, but I could barely make it out of my room when something hit me at the back of my head, and that was the last thing I remembered happening until I woke up in a moving vehicle, going to heaven knows where.
• "I'm going to call the cops on you if you don't release me right now," I guess that was the biggest mistake I ever made, because a hot slap landed on my cheek as soon as those words left my mouth.
