Chapter 19

• My birthday is not that important, at least I see it that way, but if I had to make a wish, it would be to sleep until my body can no anymore.
• However, it seems that my mother is against the idea because she is the one who calls me at six in the morning, waking me up. After an hour of talking to her and avoiding the subject of going over to her house for Christmas, I think I can sleep again, but no, the apartment doorbell rings and all I do is curse internally before getting back up.
• I know that if I don't do it it will ring again and I want to avoid it. When I'm about to open the door, the doorbell rings again; I say out loud that I'm on my way and open it without even looking through the peephole, meeting the person I least thought would see. Theo is standing there.
