Chapter 11

• I wake up when I feel a hand go through my hair and I hear someone humming a song that, if I'm not mistaken, I've heard them sing to babies. I move a bit, trying to pull away and go back to sleep, but I only feel him move closer to me before I can hear his voice again.
• “I know you're awake, get up sleepy guy, I've made you breakfast.”
• I know I have no choice but to obey; when I open my eyes, I'm met with the radiant smile that Theo almost always has. He seems so happy that, for a moment, I forget that he shouldn't be inside my apartment, because I haven't given him the code of the door. But here he is, looking as animated as ever, that I'm pretty sure if he ran into a stranger or Mrs. Oh in the elevator, he will hug them without any problem.
