Chapter 14

• With winter not only came the big coats, but also the Christmas lights in the city, the decorations, and although I had considered not decorating my apartment; there is something, or rather someone, that makes me change my mind, who arrived this morning with a Christmas boot with his name on it and just smiles at me when he sees me having breakfast and holds the boot up for me to see it, reminding me that he spends half of the time in his parent’s apartment, and the other in mine.
• “Look, Aldair, I brought my boot for the fireplace” he smiles. “Well, for some shelf actually. Also, mom said she wants to put yours at home.”
• And I doubt that the idea came from his mother, although she was able to accept that a boot with my name is in her home, I think the idea came from the little man who comes up with little jumps until he reaches my side, who deposits a kiss on my lips and smile again.
