• Jason was shocked to hear Maya's voice on the other end of the line. He wasn't expecting her to call, and he couldn't help but feel a little nervous. "Hi, Maya. What's up?" he asked, trying to sound casual. Maya hesitated for a moment, then said, "I'm sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you could come over and watch Jayden for me. I'm heading out for a bit, and I'd feel better if he was with someone I trust." Jason was caught off guard, but he quickly recovered. His heart lit up on hearing the word "trust" he smiled knowing that he was making progress."Sure, l will be there soon" he remarked.
• "Daddy, Uncle Michael is taking Mummy out tonight," Jayden said, a frown on his face as he rolled his eyes at his father. "You should be the one going out with Mommy, "he remarked, he had always wanted his Daddy and Mommy to be together as one happy family but that seemed like it wasn't going to happen anytime soon, he let out a tiny sigh as he furrowed his eyes at Jason who was already raging with anger, Jason clenched his fist furiously as he tried to calm himself down. He remembered when Maya called him on the phone earlier, she had mentioned she was going out but he didn't think for a second that she was going out with Michael, The thought of Michael infuriated him as he knew that Michael was up to no good, he had instructed his men to carry out a private investigation about Michael as something seemed off about him. Jason's mind raced as he thought about the situation. He could see beyond Micheal's fake smiles and the acts of kindness he portrayed anytime he was with Maya
• He was worried that Michael might be dangerous, and he didn't want to put Maya and Jayden at risk. He recalled what his men found out about Micheal. Michael had been working with Maya's father for a very long time and had some fraudulent transactions linked to his name If such a despicable and manipulative man could steal from a company that was entrusted to his care then he was definitely up to something, he wasn't going to ever allow Maya go out with him alone till he was able to get enough evidence against Michael.
