• "Where's Cherise?" I asked when I find her alone waiting for me while drinking her coffee.
• "She thinks she's being cheeky by playing matchmaker and let me spend some alone time with you." She said getting up and taking her purse with her.
• I saw the table was clean, her laptop was gone. The black settlement tray was also visible, she had been waiting for me for a while.
• "Sorry to keep you waiting." I took her hand to the crook of my arm.

• We stopped as she takes off her heels and dipped her feet in the sand.
• "I've been wanting to do this since I saw you walking barefoot on the sand earlier." She sighed and looked even more beautiful.

• We reached my place ten minutes later, wash our feet at the outdoor shower, and walked barefoot into the house.
• "Wow...models do get paid a lot." She looked at the surroundings, then put her purse on the side table.
• But her hand hooked my shorts seconds later, then she was grinning at me while her other hand start to trail up and pulled me down to kiss her.

• "Alice? Wait...calm down...I'll be right there." I answered the phone and was surprised to hear her desperate voice.
• "Lou baby, one of my neighbors is outside, sounds urgent. Just stay here...I'll sees what's going on." I said while quickly getting dressed, Louise was looking at me with her sleepy eyes and nodded.
• I was by the front door in seconds, opening it and definitely shocked finding Alice looking as pale as a ghost.
• "It's Archie. You gotta help me. I can't lift him up, I've been calling the ambulance, I need to get him to a hos...."
• "Okay...come." I stop her words and get my phone, wallet, and my keys, and decided to call Lou later when I arrived at the hospital.
• Alice took me into their room and find Archie was down on the carpet. My heart raced quickly, I check for his pulse and relieved when I could still feel his faint heartbeat.
• Minutes later I managed to carry him inside my car, Alice was sobbing beside him.
